Ned Goodwin MW, Halliday's Wine Companion
"This is a seamless, highly elegant Shiraz from the granitic subalpine zone of Beechworth. A waft of dried seaweed, blueberry, lilac and salami are carried long by peppery acidity and a carriage of tannin, all detailed and succulent. Initially understated, this mid-weighted wine grows in stature with time in the glass or ideally, in the cellar. Fermented wild and barely messed with this, this is unadulterated winemaking at its best. "
